Sensitive-data consent

Health and training data use notice

Running, recovery, profile, and symptom information can be sensitive. This notice separates what Aerithm may use from conclusions it must not make.

Data covered

This consent covers athlete-entered profile and training answers; imported activities; supported pace, heart-rate, power, running-dynamics, sleep, HRV, stress, recovery, and readiness records; Garmin-supplied personal records, running VO₂-max estimates, threshold evidence, and race predictions when separately connected and consented; plan completion and feedback; and athlete-entered constraints or symptoms.

Permitted uses

Uses not permitted by this consent

Aerithm must not diagnose a condition, assign exercise as the cause of a later health value, turn the detailed signals into an undisclosed recovery score, claim that a missing signal is favorable, infer a missing Garmin value, present a race prediction as a guarantee, infer precise race pace from an aspirational time alone, treat an estimated value as a laboratory measurement, use health data for advertising, or disclose it as a social feed by default.

Birth month and physiological reference sex

These two fields are required for the current adult beta’s age- and physiology-aware interpretation. Height and weight remain optional. Birth month and sex do not by themselves produce a VO₂ max estimate, race prediction, or clinical conclusion. Any future estimate requires a named, versioned method and eligible performance or device evidence.

Source control

Manual weekly distance and recent performance evidence are available in setup. A supported portable CSV or JSON export may be previewed before its normalized records are committed. The separately consented unofficial Garmin friend-beta connection may import the disclosed scope. Garmin personal records remain distinct from athlete-verified records and Aerithm GPS Best Efforts; VO₂ max, thresholds, and race predictions remain labelled provider estimates. An import never silently changes an accepted plan.

Withdrawing or changing data

You may edit setup answers before plan acceptance and may decline optional height, weight, event, target-time, and recent-performance fields. Authenticated export and account-deletion controls are available. Deletion withdraws recorded beta, privacy, health-data, and provider consent versions and closes access before identity and tenant-record removal. Aerithm's isolated operator-managed logical backups expire within 30 days and must be reconciled against later deletion records before any restoration serves traffic.
